Charitable gifts of any amount go a long way toward helping a community health center deliver top quality care and treatment to its large patient population. You may contribute to StayWell Health Center’s mission to improve the lives of those in the Greater Waterbury area and help to support good health in others.

A donor may designate a specific service or a specific program to support and StayWell will honor this request.

Since community health centers are not-for-profit organizations, your gift may be tax-deductible.

How to Give

Memorial and Tribute Gifts

Memorial and tribute contributions to a local community health center provide a special opportunity to let family and friends know they are being remembered.

A memorial gift is a thoughtful and caring way to express sympathy while sharing concern for the health and well being of others.

A tribute gift to a community health center provides the unique opportunity to honor special people. It is a great way to show a family member or friend that you share and respect their love for the health and happiness of people from all walks of life.

Non-monetary Gifts

StayWell also accepts new and gently used children’s books that will support the Reach Out and Read program and other literacy initiatives supported by our staff to benefit our patients.  A patient who can read will likely have a greater health-literacy ability, ultimately positively impacting one’s health status.

The organization also regularly accepts donations of new toothbrushes for adults and children, other items for our homeless patients, such as personal hygiene products, new socks and gift cards for coffee.

Lightly used prenatal clothes are also accepted and will be used by our over 300 pregnant patients who receive care at our site each year.

A cash donation is always welcome to support the organization’s expenses, particularly those related to the 18% of patients who are uninsured.

Consider making a tax-deductible, cash donations by sending a check to:
